County shoot at Moody Down.

Good Evening,
I just wanted to let you know about the performance of our Full Bore Team at the County Shoot (Full-Bore) this weekend at Moody Down and Pirbright Ranges.
Despite very long days and intense heat the Team did very well. Especially considering none of the Team had fired neither the LSW or A2 Rifle with ball ammunition. Also that they had only fired at 25m and the County Shoot was at ranges of 200 - 300 metres.
We were also going up against Companies with a much better shooting pedigree that us.
Despite these set backs we were able with coaching to get the entire team on target at both 200 and 300 Metres both firing prone and from a fire trench.
The results surpassed all our expectations and my thanks to SMI Holdway for acting as the team coach and for getting the Cadets on target.

We now pass the baton to the No8 and Air Rifle Team to secure victory at the County Shoot (Small-Bore) at Newburgh on 26th July.
